Fun, Math, and Games

What do you think about math? Do you say math? What is my interest in math? It was something I had to do in school. But I’m not sure I want to. My life is not a math-oriented one. Some find math exciting and thrilling and have the time of their lives. They love it and can’t wait for it to be used in their lives. However, this second opinion is a minority. Math is considered work by most people. It’s confusing, complex, and completely unnecessary. Are you a victim of this? This kind of thinking is flawed. Math is essential, from simple addition and subtraction to more complex geometry and physics. Math is necessary for our lives.

Now, we need to decide where we want to go. How can math be boring, tedious, and dull? It doesn’t have to be tedious. Math can be exciting, fun, and something you look forward to. How? What makes math fun? Have you ever played a video game? You have. It was fun. It was. Would you ever want to play another game? If you answered “Yes,” I have some hope for your math skills. Many games can be just as fun and teach you everything you need to know about math. Do you remember Hangman or Dominoes? Are you a card or board game player? I know how to translate these games into math and many other games that do the same thing. You’ll be having so much fun and wondering where your time went.
